Speakers may take questions\, time permitting.\nRonda Davis\, President of Cat Tales of Prince William will be presenting on her organization’s cat rescue / trap-and-release non-profit organization. Cat Tales specializes in the humane treatment\, neutering and spaying of stray cats\, fostering\, and adoptions out to loving families. SUMMARY:RESCHEDULED: Neabsco Boardwalk Cleanup (March 16)
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for March 2nd\, but has been postponed due to inclement weather. \nOn Saturday\, March 16\, 2024 (9:00 am – noon) the Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition will be conducting a trash cleanup on Neabsco Creek and at the Neabsco Boardwalk in Woodbridge.  They will be working from two locations: \n– Neabsco Regional Park\, 15125 Blackburn Rd\, Woodbridge\, VA 22191 (boardwalk area)\n– Neabsco Eagles Park\, 15801 Neabsco Rd\, Woodbridge VA\, 22191 (stream cleanup downstream from litter trap)\n\nYou will be asked to pick a location when you register. Trash bags\, litter grabbers and gloves will be provided.  Storm water surges in the stream leave trash in flood plain areas\, which can be wet and muddy.  Wear boots or shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
